Inspector Simeon

With his bohemian sartorial style, crumpled coat, and floppy painter’s hat, it would be easy to dismiss Inspector Primo Simeon of the Sûreté as a bombastic buffoon. He is given to a poetic style of expression and flashes of egotistical brilliance, combining some of the characteristics of the Chevalier Dupin and Napoleon Bonaparte. The truth is that Inspector Simeon has an discursive, penetrating intellect that simply runs on a different frequency than the rest of humanity. There’s a good reason for that, but Simeon isn’t telling.
