Dame Sepia

The world-renowned occultist and expert on  imaginary languages, Sepia Belchamy was made a Dame of the British Empire in 1890 for services to the Crown – in particular, for calling up the ghost of Prince Albert and asking him where he’d put the issue of The Strand Magazine with the final instalment of “Sherlock Holmes versus the Morlocks”.
